HEN PARTY FOR BRIDE-TO-BE
To celebrate Marzia's wedding and Felicia birthday, we decided to take Marzia to some mysterious place...
We met there at noon
and were sitting here for a while
going away from Stockholm city
and when we couldn't see of the city anymore, we steped down the boat
From this place it was no difficult to find somewhere to seetle and pique-nique! Here we go!
And after a quick rest..
.. we went...
... to the japanese SPA!
I wish you a peaceful and full of happiness wedding Marzia
After a yoga class and some more bath, we were getting really hungry!
Thank you girls for such a nice day!!
Behind the curtains...
Before:
After!!
Première: curtains in the living room!!!
and what is just behind? vas ist das? keskeçé? vad är det? kesako? tchintchangtchong?
Walk in the forest with Stefi's friends
Stefi & Andreas are training for walking around the Mont-Blanc!!
Walking around Stockholm is not exactly the same landscape, but they bring stones in their backpack to compensate!!
Two sundays ago we joined them and their friend and walk from... to...
It was really nice being in the forest the whole afternoon with a gang of friends!
Half way, a nice place to stay and pique-nique close to the lake
Thank you Stefi for a good idea!!
Can you see what I see?
Première: evening sun at Vintervicken
(qui a gagné?)
summer is soon here... looking forward to swimming here...
Première: petit déj sur le balcon!
La varappe à Bleau!!!
C'est juste génial!!
(but what are they talking about might think some of you?)
"Varappe" = climbing
"Bleau" = Fontainebleau, a forest south of Paris, one of the most famous place in the world for bouldering
1/ wake up in the morning and get to Paris gare de Lyon, don't think you gonna take those trains but most probably...
... some of those
After half an hour, you will for exemple arrive at
GOoD
Then, you will have to find the way trough the forest, either you know already, either you do not. In this case, my advice would be to ask someone going out of the train with the same look than you and follow her. Here was very kind english lady living in Paris since many years and used to climb often here, perfect!
walk half and hour and you will arrive here, one spot among many many many other bouldering spot in Bleau.
Thank you madame for the guiding
Let climb!! this place is crazy, soooo many stuff to do
Of course you won't forget to bring some food.
French climbers are never going out in the forest without:
mmmh super lunch with good food from the market place Monge
Even warm coffee thanks to Framboise!!!
All was just perfect, being there was like a dream
even the trees started to climb there
Woow it was just the best place ever... we definitively are going to come back !!
Sunny sunday happy day
Full house in februari-march!!
So much happened after the vasa and the winter holidays !
Once back to Stockholm we had just enough time to go and walk... but where is everyone standing?
You are right!! Yes indeed we are on a...
...lack!
A week after we came back with
The CA-
-NA
-DIENS!
and Louise & Miyo, always ready to get a ride on the ice!!!
We had plenty of various activity during the visit of our canadiens,
some solitary activities

some social afternoon as well:
Some time for rest:
and time for PLAY!
We went to an island named Möja and biked all around
We had the youth hostel for ourselves, very cool!!
And we fired the last weekend with the first pique-nique of the year at Rollis! a nice parc close to the water in the city center!
The waffle day came and, they all disapered... ; the house was suddently desert, fortunatly they left the place plenty of great memories!!
Thank you to all our visitors for coming!! It was super to see you here and share a bit of our life here in Sweden!
Randonnée!!!
The winter holidays did not ends after the short vasa. Indeed, we drove a bit norther untill Storulvån, a station with a youth hostel and some mountains around.
The youth hostel:
View from the youth hostel
Our goal was to ride "ski de randonnée", walking with the skis to the top of a mountain and ski down hill after this.
It was a very nice experience, going up hill by your self make you enjoy the way done even better!!
Once in the forest we crossed some funny animals... ssshh I think it is looking at you...
The youth hostel was very nice and comfortable, we hope to come back!
Vasaloppet: feed back (two weeks later...)
Finally a post about our performance!!!
Breakfast performance first, eat as much as you can...
because today is the (short) vasaloppet's day
The runners are on their top, Stefi, Patrik
Louise,
Nathalie...
... Truls, Mag, Pat, Andreas, Stefi, Nathalie, Ben & Louise (and the 2 fotographers Mum & Théo): everyone is here and ready for the run!!!
The 30km went well, it was 5°C warm, probably too warm but still a good condition to ski fast, we were all very glad about our times. I can't remember everyones but Patrik did 2.37min and Nathalie 2.50min!!! Yuhuuu, the training paid back.
On the sunday (two days after the short vasa) Magnus did the "real" vasaloppet: 90km, a bit more serious! Few of us woke up and encourage him at 5am in the morning. -13°C and sunny day, he did it in 7.21min!! We were all very proud of him!!!
kinda cold in the morning
waiting for the run to start...
as the sun starts to rise... the first one are coming!!!
Can you see Magnus in the crowd??
We keep very good memories of our first vasa,
and who knows if one day we are not gonna run for the long one...?
